A man named Bryan Kohberger was involved in a violent altercation with his ex-girlfriend, Kaylee Goncalves, before fleeing the scene. The fight reportedly occurred at a residence in the area on Wednesday night. According to witnesses, the two argued intensely and got into a physical altercation. Goncalves sustained injuries during the altercation and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Kohberger was reportedly arrested a short distance from the scene and charged with multiple counts of assault, kidnapping, and aggravated assault. He is currently being held in police custody and is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
